Hi there! I'm Dana.
Hopefully by now (if you read my homepage) you should already know that people are my passion, I strive for excellence in all my work, and I’m not from San Francisco.
That’s a nice overview, but it’s definitely time to dive a little deeper!
Currently working at: Echo Mountain Inn
Echo Mountain Inn has been providing its guests a place of peace and rest for many generations. Originally built as a summer home in the late 1800s, this 125-year-old landmark has functioned as an inn, restaurant, and beloved community hub since the 1930s.
Although my technical title is Marketing Manager, I get to do a little bit of everything around the inn. Depending on the day, I could be writing a newsletter, cleaning rooms, checking people into the room I just cleaned, creating Facebook ads, serving food to the people who I just checked in, writing blog posts, or all of the above.
Currently residing in: Western North Carolina
Born and raised here, Minnesota has always been home to me. So though it may be confusing to see my face next to the Golden Gate Bridge or Lake Louise of Banff, Alberta, it’s simply because those pictures are just more aesthetically pleasing than the frozen tundra that is the current state of Minnesota.
Please don’t misunderstand me—I am (and always will be) a die-hard Minnesota fan. Not of the sports (the teams kind of suck), but of the state as a whole. I think it’s one of the most beautiful, underrated places in these United States. Don’t believe me? I guess you’ll just have to come visit! (In the summer, preferably.)
Currently interested in: A Brief Overview
- Hiking, camping, adventuring in the great outdoors (weather permitting).
- Investing into my community of young(ish) people.
- Digging into scripture and searching out the truth.
- Hedgehogs.
- The book Wake UP by Arno Lamm and Emile-Andre Vanbeckevoort.
- My family. They’re crazy and loud and I love them.
- Les Misérables, always.
